MG-SOFT NETCONF Simulator
Available editions
MG-SOFT NETCONF Simulator is available in several editions. Editions differ regarding the number of NETCONF/RESTCONF/gNMI server instances that can be simulated at the same time. Each simulated server instance supports NETCONF protocol and, if enabled, also RESTCONF and gNMI protocol. Editions differ also regarding support for the northbound interface (NBI) that enables integration of NETCONF Simulator into automated testing environments.
The following editions of NETCONF Simulator are available:
- MG-SOFT NETCONF Simulator LITE Edition
This edition can simulate up to 32 NETCONF/RESTCONF/gNMI servers. - MG-SOFT NETCONF Simulator WorkGroup Edition
This edition allows simulating 256 NETCONF/RESTCONF/gNMI servers in total. - MG-SOFT NETCONF Simulator Enterprise Edition
This edition allows simulating 1024 NETCONF/RESTCONF/gNMI servers in total. Besides, this edition incorporates the northbound interface (NBI). - MG-SOFT NETCONF Simulator Enterprise/<N> Edition
This edition allows simulating <N> NETCONF/RESTCONF/gNMI servers in total (where <N> is greater than 1024). Besides, this edition incorporates the northbound interface (NBI). Please contact MG-SOFT Sales Team in order to obtain an offer for the software configuration supporting the desired number of simultaneously simulated servers.
MG-SOFT NETCONF Simulator runs on 64-bit MS Windows and Linux operating systems with 64-bit Oracle Java 8+, or Adoptium JDK/AdoptOpenJDK 11+ installed.
