Users who licensed MIB Browser when Version 10 was the current release (or when
Visual MIB Builder Version 6 or MIB Explorer Version 3 was the current release)
can use their existing license.key file also with MIB Browser Version 11
(or Visual MIB Builder Version 7 or MIB Explorer Version 4).
To install the new software, proceed as follows:
- Backup the license.key file.
- Download the latest evaluation version of the software available from
our download page.
- Install the downloaded evaluation version of the software. The installer
will prompt you
for the folder containing the license.key file. Point to it and
the evaluation version of the software will become fully enabled.
- After installing the latest version it is recommended to run the installed
MIB Compiler and re-compile all MIB files.
Alternatively, if you have the latest evaluation version of the software already
installed, you only need to copy the license.key file to the MIB Browser's
BIN folder.
In the latest version of MIB Browser, Version 11, you may wish to use
the new function, Help|CheckForUpdates. In case your current licnese
does not open the most recent version of MIB browser, you will be
pointed to the installer of the software with version that is still
supported by your license, so that you can download and install it,
and continue to use it free of charge.
Users, who licensed MIB Browser Professional Edition with MIB Compiler
when version 9 (or earlier) was the current version, and users who would
like to migrate their existing MIB Browser license to different MIB Browser
Edition, should contact MG-SOFT Sales
